David R. Oberlander

David R. Oberlander represents residential, commercial, office and industrial developers in securing a wide range of development approvals and in development related litigation. He regularly appears at planning and zoning boards throughout New Jersey and has extensive experience challenging denials and development restrictions in trial and appellate courts. David has experience in affordable housing law and has litigated numerous builder's remedy cases which have resulted in court ordered rezoning permitting increased development. David also litigates development issues before various State administrative agencies including the Department of Environmental Protection, the Council on Affordable Housing and the Board of Public Utilities.

David has lectured on land use matters for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Education and for the New Jersey Builders Association. He has long been active in community and legal affairs and has held the following positions:

• Secretary, Supreme Court of New Jersey, District IV Ethics Committee (1995-1996)
• Trustee, Camden County Bar Association (1993-1996)

• Solicitor, Cherry Hill Zoning Board (1987-1990)
• Member, Jewish Community Relations Council (2007-Present)
